Intro

All is rotten, the world stinks and is dreary. I haven't seen a living person for a long time. Almost all of them … withered away. There's very little antidote left. Maybe I'm just lucky... I don't know. Comforting, too, in a way, the loneliness. Life is only as bad as you tell yourself it is. And to be honest... I've never felt better.

Abstract

Yellow Gold was our entry to the competition/tender, the SAVENCIA Company. The final product is a 30-second advertising clip for the German market, which was broadcast on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. Various cheese brands belonging to the SAVENCIA Company were advertised. These included Fol Epi, Géramont, Chavroux, Bresso, Saint Albray, Chaumes and many more. In search of useful things, the protagonist wanders through an abandoned and destroyed world. Off-screen, he talks about the "new world", how he feels about it and about a miracle cure for the plague. When the protagonist returns home, the viewer recognises his extensive store of cheese and thus of the miracle cure.
